The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children. You are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth.
2 Corinthians 6:18
I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.
Galatians 3:26-29
You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Numbers 6:24-26 (NIV)
May the Lord bless you and take good care of you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord look on you with favor and give you his peace.
I hope you didn't try and choke down one of those moon cakes!!! Our Miah was the only one to try it! I thought I would drop a quick hello and check in on how you guys are adjusting since our China trip? We received our surgery date for Miah (Dec 2) which should be the last hurdle before speech therapy etc begins.
I hope you are enjoying your thanksgiving, and God Bless.
Hi Drew! Miah is doing very, very well. We initially had a tough time getting her to sleep at night, which was rough on us, but now she goes to bed (and stays asleep) jut fine. We had an appointment with a orthopedic surgeon just recently and he told us not to bother with Miah's brace anymore - he said the alignment of her feet and legs is just perfect!
Other than that, Miah is picking up English very very quickly. She likes to repeat things we say, and Angelina in particular loves to talk a lot, so Miah is picking up new words and phrases daily.
Angelina is also doing well. She initially had a tough time adjusting to having a little sister, but both girls are very very close. God is good.
