Tentative Travel Dates

49 more sleeps?


Our travel facilitaor told us that our tentative dates are July 16-20. I would love to go much earlier, but with swine flu delays, it may make more sense to go in July, but I would be open to sooner!


We are officially waiting for our TA now.

May 25 2009 - LOA Arrives

We signed our LOA today. We are a little bit closer now to Miah.


Now that our Letter of Confirmation has arrived, we know for sure (God willing) that we are going to be Miah's parents. It's just a matter of time now.  With the swine flu outbreak, we could be delayed months but we are confident that we will travel when we are suppose to.

Letter Seeking Confirmation - When and Where?

Hi

Well, it's been a day of me updating RQ to see if there has been any LOAs to Canada. I haven't seen one in Canada arrive yet. When will our LOA arrive? It could be tomorrow or early next week, God willing.


Where? I have no idea. Apparently they are sent via courier. They have arrived in some parts of Europe, Ireland and Spain, and in some States, so it has to be a matter of time.

I do feel wonderfully blessed, however.

No News But..

Miah opening care packages from her family in England and Canada. What a joy it is to have photos of her opening them.

Letter Seeking Confirmation

We are still waiting for our Letter Seeking Confirmation, but it appears that CCAA has put a temporary hold on it for now. It doesn't matter a great deal, as we already know that we are pre-approved to adopt Miah.

Would I feel better with it in my hands? Yes! However, God is faithful and He does not break promises. We hope go to China this summer to get Miah.

Please pray for her health and safety.
