I am so pleased that I called Bob at FOI (in Ottawa, ON)and asked him a few questions about "switching" to Special Needs.

Alarmed at the ever lengthening wait to adopt a child from China, we sat on the fence for a long while before making the decision. Thankfully, we could still stay logged in with our LID of December 30, 2006 and also wait to be matched with a child on the Special Needs List.

Things moved quickly for us. However, we have no regrets, not making this decision sooner as we would not have been matched with Miah.

We expect to travel to China within the next 3-4 months.
